End-User Licence Agreement (EULA)

Version 2025-09-26. Last updated 2025-09-26.

Thank you for using Math Sheet Web. This EULA is a legal agreement between you and the operator of Math Sheet Web (the “Service”) that governs your use of our web application and related services. By creating an account, logging in, or using the Service, you agree to this EULA.

1. The Service and Licence

We licence you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for creating, editing, playing and sharing math worksheets for non‑infringing purposes, subject to this EULA and the Terms of Service.

2. Accounts and Access

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for activities under your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate access for breach, abuse, legal reasons, or risk to the Service or others.

3. User-Generated Content (UGC)

“UGC” means any worksheet, equation, image, text, data, links, ratings, comments or other content you upload, submit or generate via the Service.

  • You retain ownership of your UGC.
  • You must have all rights necessary to submit UGC and it must not infringe third‑party rights, be unlawful, or violate our Terms of Service.
  • You are solely responsible for your UGC and for backing it up.

4. Licence You Grant to Us (UGC)

To operate and improve the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, irrevocable and perpetual licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, modify, create derivative works from, translate, publish, publicly display and perform, distribute and otherwise use your UGC in connection with the Service and our business, in any media now known or later developed. This licence is royalty‑free and fully paid‑up. Where your UGC includes personal data, we will process it in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Note: This licence permits, for example, aggregating or curating UGC, training internal features that improve routing or rendering, showcasing examples, enabling sharing and rating functionality, and commercial exploitation such as compilations or publications, without additional compensation. We will not misrepresent authorship of your UGC.

5. Community and Acceptable Use

You must comply with our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use rules. Do not upload or share content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, harmful, deceptive, malware, or that violates privacy or security. We may remove UGC or restrict accounts at our discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, UI, design, routing algorithms, and content we provide, is protected by IP laws. Except for the limited licence above, no rights are granted. Do not copy, modify, reverse‑engineer, or create derivative works from the Service unless permitted by law.

7. Third‑Party Services and Social Login

The Service may integrate with third‑party providers (e.g., sign‑in with Google/Microsoft/Facebook). Your use of those features may be subject to their terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third‑party services.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness, accuracy, availability, and non‑infringement. You are responsible for how you use outputs and UGC.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages; loss of profits, data, goodwill or business interruption; or aggregate liability exceeding the greater of £50 or the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes

We may update this EULA. If changes are material, we will notify you and, where required, request renewed acceptance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

Unless mandatory local law applies, this EULA is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England shall have non‑exclusive jurisdiction. Consumers in the EU may benefit from mandatory consumer protections of their country of residence.
